School Rant!!!!

Ok so here is another famous rant! This idea came from one boring night talking to Kyle...

I wish there was school without the tests and projects. Where you just learned the subject matters and then applied them to real life. Kind of like science how you learn about animals or chemical reactions and then do labs on them. English, for example, instead of reading a book and taking tests on it, you could find how and why this story is important to modern day life like allusions and different versions of it. Now there could be a problem of people not being able to think in terms like I have described, but if the schools started that thinking process in kindergarten, then kids would learn how to do it from a young age. Thus knowing a different learning style. The other thing I don’t get about tests is that if you are supposed to learn from your mistakes, shouldn’t you take a pre-test type thing to find out what you need to figure out and then take a real test. It would make much more sense and have a better affect on test scores.
